E-bike rentals and tours, Val di Chiana
The bike takes the hill.
The Val di Chiana is full of white gravel roads you'd normally just drive past. With pedal assist you can ride them in a morning, no training and no coming home wrecked.
Every bike comes back to the workshop at night and heads out checked in the morning: brakes, tyre pressure, battery charged. No one leaves on a bike we haven't looked at that day.
Every route you'll find here we've pedalled on the same bike we hand you, so we know where the surface gets rough and where it's worth stopping.
If you stop, you call; we answer while you're on the road and, if need be, we come get you in the van. The number is +39 0575 83 12 47, the same one as the shop, reachable after hours too for an emergency on the route.

You fill in the request and send it. No credit card and no deposit online; it's only on when we confirm.
We set the saddle and bars to your height and walk you through the assist levels before you leave the yard. Bring an ID: the deposit is €120, returned when you bring the bike back.
A half day toward Lucignano, a full day between Lucignano and Foiano, and a route built for families with kids. We publish the distances and the climbing in full, not by guesswork.
The short one, the ride that fits in a morning and leaves your afternoon free. 24 km, 310 m of climbing, about three hours in the saddle. Almost all gravel, with a short paved stretch leaving the village; it runs through Lucignano and the vineyard hills around it.
The long one, with a stop halfway. 48 km, 620 m of climbing, about six hours including stops. Half gravel and half back-road tarmac, between Lucignano and Foiano della Chiana; lunch is in Foiano, at a village trattoria.
Built for anyone with kids in a bike seat or on a trailer. 18 km, 90 m of climbing, about two hours including stops. Suggested from age 4 in a bike seat, from 8 to pedal on their own along a short stretch; just one crossing of an open road, signposted and low-speed.

We want you to know what you're spending before you write your name anywhere. Two trekking e-bike models, in three sizes (S/M/L), with a child seat on request. Half day €40, full day €60, deposit €120 returned when you bring it back; helmet, lock and repair kit are always included.
Not sure of your size? Call us and we'll sort it out over the phone.

Forty times we set off with the group and came back with the group. The notes you read on the cards come from that, not from a downloaded track.
Placeholder testimonial, pending a real review: «Bike in great shape, route explained well, we'd head out again tomorrow.» (test customer, July 2025)
Six questions, the real ones. The answers are right below, opening one at a time.
Date, how many bikes, which route. If you don't know the size or you need a child seat, put it in the notes and we'll sort it at pickup. We don't ask for a credit card; this is a request, not a payment.
If you'd rather book by talking, call. The person on the phone is the one who hands you the bike. We're open every day 8 to 19, March through October, closed Tuesdays.
